Models strut autumn fashion in Melbourne

Faux fur, gingham blazers and the classic white shirt - but with a twist - are some of the autumn-winter trends emerging from the Melbourne Fashion Festival.

Models Kris Smith and Rachael Finch were among the names strutting their stuff on Myer's runways at the Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival on Saturday.

Blazers featured alongside one-shouldered, high-neck or puffy-sleeved white shirts in collections by brands such as Scotch & Soda, Asilio, One Teaspoon and Acler.

Jewellery-toned faux fur was also shaping up to be a key autumn-winter trend for the festival, running until March 18.
