Martinsville Speedway race weekend means the famous hot dogs are back

MARTINSVILLE, Va. (WDBJ7) If you're heading out to the Martinsville Speedway this weekend, chances are you'll have one of the famous hot dogs.

The concession stands opened up Friday while the trucks were practicing, so we could an inside look into how the dogs are made.

We told you a few weeks ago the Jesse Jones hot dogs are back this year, which has made a lot of fans very happy.

"It's a Martinsville tradition, it's a NASCAR tradition and it's a nationally known product. We sell over 60,000 of these in one weekend," says Director of Food and Beverage, Josh Gilkey.

We're told you can get the hot dog 14 different ways, but the most popular is all the way.

That includes the toasted bun, the Jesse Jones hot dog, mustard, barbecue coleslaw, chili and onions.
